Rafael A. Urbina, MD

Dr. Urbina is a Puerto Rican native who graduated with a General Science degree from the University of Puerto Rico, before earning a medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. Dr. Urbina completed his Internal Medicine Residency as well as his Gastroenterology Fellowship in the Veteran’s Administrative Healthcare System in Puerto Rico. In the pursuit of an opportunity to utilize his talents in gastroenterology Dr. Urbina and his family relocated to the Naples area and joined the Gastroenterology Group of Naples. He is fluent in both English and Spanish and is skilled in colonoscopy, endoscopy and capsule EGD procedures among other gastroenterological services. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and is board certified in Gastroenterology.
