
Michael A. Marks, M.D., (retired) a native of New Jersey, Dr. Marks graduated from Rutgers University in 1987 with High Honors. Upon completion of medical school at Temple University in Philadelphia he pursued training in Internal Medicine completing his residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, New Jersey. Dr. Marks completed his training in Gastroenterology at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital as well. Dr. Marks is board certified in Gastroenterology. Dr. Marks has been in private practice in Naples since 1997. He is skilled in endoscopy, colonoscopy, biliary endoscopy and therapeutic endoscopy. He is a member of the staff of Naples Community Hospital and, North Collier Hospital and was chairman of the Department of Gastroenterology at these hospitals. In March 2007, he merged his practice with Gastroenterology Group of Naples. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and is certified in the subspecialty of Gastroenterology. He is also a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American Gastroenterological Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and American College of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Marks has retired to pursue his personal passions. He will keep his license active and has agreed to provide us with peer counsel. We wish him well and assure all his patients that they will be seen by another qualified member of our physician team.
