Nursing Staff

Gastroenterology Group of Naples has five Registered Nurses as well as a Medical Assistant. They are dedicated to providing prompt, courteous and compassionate care to all of our patients. The nursing staff facilitates communication with our patients by returning all phone calls the same day, informing physicians of changes in patients' medical condition and relaying prescriptions to pharmacies. To enhance this communication all of the nurses have voice mail to receive messages when they are not immediately available. As well, the nursing staff performs minor procedures (such as breath testing, vaccinations, injections e.g. B12), provides instructions for procedure preparation, and schedules all procedures. Finally, the nursing staff interviews all patients prior to being evaluated by a physician.
