Gulfshore Endoscopy Center is an ambulatory surgical center, which is Medicare certified and has been certified by JACOH. It is a state-of-the-art facility for the endoscopic evaluation of the gastrointestinal system. Gastrointestinal endoscopy is a safe, effective means to examine both the upper GI tract (EGD) and lower digestive tract (colonoscopy) using flexible fiberoptic instruments. The interior surfaces of the digestive tract are inspected for signs of disease, including malignancy.
